Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives made an arrest in a fatal shooting that killed a 51-year-old man in West Park.

At approximately 8:26 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 5, Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a shooting near the 4000 block of Pembroke Road in West Park. BSO district deputies and Hollywood Fire Rescue responded.

On scene, deputies located Brannon Graham suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported Graham to Memorial Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives were notified and responded to the scene to investigate.

Upon deputies’ arrival the suspect had fled the scene. That evening, through investigative methods, detectives located the suspect, Melchior Warren, and took him into custody.
