Surveillance video of the incident shows the subjects removing items from off the store’s shelves and placing them directly into their personal bags. The subjects are then seen exiting the store, where detectives say they entered a dark colored sedan and fled the scene.

The first subject, who took the selfie, was last seen wearing all white, carrying a brown paper bag. The second individual had on a light-colored hoodie, gray pants and unknown color slides, also carrying a brown paper bag. Detectives say the third subject was wearing a black shirt, gray hoodie, yellow pants, and unknown color slides, carrying a purple handbag, while the fourth individual was wearing an all-black outfit with white color designs, carrying a baby and white and black handbag.

According to investigators, the individuals are believed to have committed similar crimes across Florida.

Detectives are also releasing surveillance video of an individual caught on camera exiting the same business with a shopping cart full of unpaid items. Investigators say the two crimes are unrelated.

The not so clean getaway occurred at approximately 2:24 p.m. on Friday, April 11. According to detectives, an unknown female wearing a multi-colored headwrap, yellow tank top, light-colored jeans, and white shoes stole Angel Soft bath tissue, Charmin bath tissue, Cottonelle wipes, several Clorox products, and a number of laundry detergents from the Publix Super Market on McNab Road. The individual also stole a black trash can, which investigators believe contained additional stolen items.

Video surveillance of the incident shows the woman walking through the aisles, filling a shopping cart. Another individual wearing a brown shirt and black pants is also seen obtaining empty grocery bags. The second subject is seen walking up to the first individual, who is then seen carrying items in the grocery bags before retrieving the filled shopping cart and exiting the store.

Detectives say the woman in yellow entered a gray Nissan Altima, which was occupied by a female driver, before fleeing the scene.
