Do you have unwanted or expired medication(s) that you need to dispose of? Documents that need shredding? If so, join us at the Broward Sheriff’s Office Operation Medicine Cabinet and Shred-A-Thon event in North Lauderdale this Saturday, March 1.

BSO is hosting the free event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Lauderdale District Office, located at 701 S.W. 71st Ave. 

Participating individuals who turn in prescription medications will receive a $5 gift card while supplies last. Needles and sharp objects will not be collected at this event.

Officials will also collect documents for shredding. A maximum of two boxes per vehicle is allowed. A box can be no more than 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches high.
