Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit arrested a man in connection to a stabbing that left one person dead Tuesday night in Pompano Beach.
Just before 7 p.m. on July 14, Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a stabbing near the 2500 block of East Atlantic Boulevard. BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded. On scene, emergency crews located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. PBFR transported the victim to Broward Health North hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
As detectives work to positively identify the victim, they believe the two men were known to each other. After the stabbing, Rice left the scene; however, deputies located him a short time later.
