Join us at the Broward Sheriff’s Office Operation Medicine Cabinet and Shred-A-Thon event in Pompano Beach this Saturday, Sept. 19, and dispose of unwanted or expired medication(s).

BSO is hosting the free event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pompano Beach Community Park located at 1600 Northeast 10th Street.

Participating individuals who turn in prescription medications will receive a $5 gift card while supplies last. Needles and sharp objects will not be collected at this event.

Officials will also collect documents for shredding. A maximum of two boxes per vehicle is allowed. A box can be no more than 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches high.
