Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office are releasing surveillance footage that shows two masked suspects ambushing two men outside a Pompano Beach home in early October.

At approximately 1:58 p.m. on Oct. 4, Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Northwest 10th Circle in Pompano Beach. BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital where one of the victims was pronounced deceased. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

According to detectives, the surveillance video shows a red Honda Accord pull up and park near the residence moments before the shooting. Two masked individuals dressed in black exit the vehicle, each armed with a rifle-style firearm. One of the rifles is seen with a distinct blue magazine. The suspects walk toward the front of the residence, where the two adult victims were outside, and fire multiple rounds before running back to the vehicle and fleeing. The suspect vehicle has since been recovered by detectives.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact BSO Detective Kevin Nitsch at 954-321-4876 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477), online at browardcrimestoppers.org, or dial **TIPS (8477) from any cellphone in the United States.
