Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are releasing a photo of an individual wanted in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Nathaniel Forrest. Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying and/or locating the subject in question.

A Broward Crime Stoppers reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.

The fatal shooting occurred at approximately 9:42 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, near the 900 block of Northwest 24th Avenue.

According to investigators, BSO deputies responded to the location after being notified of a ShotSpotter call in the area. On scene, deputies located Forrest suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and immediately began performing life-saving measures.

Forrest was subsequently transported by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
