THIEF HAULING STOLEN PACKAGES

Detectives with the Broward Sheriff's Office North Lauderdale District are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a porch pirate caught on camera stealing and loading stolen items into a U-Haul van.

The theft occurred at approximately 3:34 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, near the 6800 block of Doral Street in North Lauderdale. The driver then exits the van wearing an army green jacket, white shirt and dark-colored pants and quickly runs toward the victim's porch. Once there, ring camera captures the individual collecting the victim’s delivered boxes and running back toward the vehicle.
