The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred in February.

According to investigators, the crash occurred at the intersection of West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue in unincorporated Central Broward. The preliminary investigation revealed a 2018 Hyundai Tucson was traveling westbound on West Broward Boulevard through the intersection when the driver of a 1993 Toyota Corolla made a left turn into the path of the Hyundai. Paramedics transported the driver of the Toyota to Broward Health Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. The occupants of the Hyundai sustained minor injuries and remained on-scene with detectives.
