This weekend, the Broward Sheriff’s Office DUI Task Force and district personnel, in conjunction with other agencies and municipalities, will conduct a DUI sobriety safety checkpoint operation. 

The operation will take place between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, to Saturday, Dec. 14, in unincorporated Central Broward.

The primary purpose of this operation is to promote traffic safety, apprehend impaired drivers who may pose a danger to the public and cite traffic violators.
