Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Lauderdale Lakes Sunday morning. 

At approximately 12:23 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a shooting at a house party near the 3000 block of Northwest 35th Street in Lauderdale Lakes. BSO district deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located two men suffering from gunshot wounds outside the residence. BSO deputies immediately began administering life-saving measures. 

Paramedics transported both men to a local hospital where Antoninne Scotsman was pronounced deceased. The second man was transported with injures listed as not life-threatening. 

BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives were notified and responded to the scene to investigate. According to the preliminary investigation, an argument occurred between several individuals that escalated into the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
