Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Friday, Jan. 23 in Dania Beach.

At approximately 6:24 p.m., BSO Traffic Homicide Unit detectives and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to a report of a fatal single vehicle crash near Taylor Road and Northeast Seventh Avenue.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Glenn Alan Zink was driving a 2021 Zhejiang Geely E-Bike traveling eastbound on Taylor Road. According to investigators, for reasons unknown the E-Bike veered off the roadway and possibly struck a tree. 

Paramedics transported Zink to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
