Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a murder that occurred Saturday night in North Lauderdale.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, Broward County Regional Communications received a report of a shooting in the 6500 block of Harbour Road in North Lauderdale. BSO deputies and North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located an adult male who had been shot. The victim, Isaiah Coney, was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate.
