The Broward Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement services for the City of North Lauderdale, home to more than 43,000 residents. North Lauderdale is predominantly a residential community of 5.2 square miles and prides itself on its commitment to maintaining a beautiful, safe and fun city, reflected by its motto: A Fun City in the Heart of Broward.
BSO's North Lauderdale district has 65 employees to provide law enforcement services. Fifty eight are sworn law enforcement officers, which includes the chief, executive lieutenant, patrol lieutenant, seven sergeants, patrol deputies, detectives and seven civilians.

From now on you may submit your public records requests online. Online requests are received, tracked, and fulfilled electronically. Your request will be entered in the Public Records Unit queue and processed on a first come first served basis. As a requestor, you can communicate with the technician handling your request and receive updates via email.
