Lieutenant Toni Hopkins is a law enforcement leader with nearly two decades of service at the Broward Sheriff's Office, currently serving as a Lieutenant and Executive Officer in the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea District. Throughout her career, she has held progressive leadership roles including Administrative Sergeant, CORE Sergeant, and Road Patrol Sergeant, overseeing district operations, specialized community units, and high-profile event planning. She has coordinated operational plans for major community events and dignitary visits, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and led critical incident responses as a Hostage Negotiator Team Leader with the agency's SWAT/Hostage Barricade Team. Known for her strong leadership, operational oversight, and community-focused approach, she brings both tactical expertise and strategic management experience to her role.

Lieutenant Hopkins combines field experience with advanced education and professional development. She holds a Master of Disaster Management from Florida International University, a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of West Florida. In addition to her agency responsibilities, she serves as a Unit Supply Leader with the Southeast Florida Regional All Hazards Incident Management Team, supporting disaster response efforts statewide. Her background reflects a commitment to leadership, public safety, emergency management, and continuous professional growth.
