Depositing Funds to Inmate Accounts
Inmates are permitted to receive funds for deposit to their commissary accounts. However, depositors must wait until an inmate has received a permanent housing assignment and is transferred to that housing unit before sending money.
Family and Friends will be able to make deposits at any of four (4) locations listed below using the Lobby Kiosks. These deposits will be cash only.

WESTERN UNION® DEPOSITS
Family and Friends can utilitize Western Union® to send deposits online, in person, or by phone. Western Union accepts credit cards via phone or online.

Family and friends can utilize Access Corrections to send secure deposits online or by phone. Access Corrections accepts Credit Cards via phone or on-line.See Access Corrections Help for more information.

Cash deposits
Cash deposits to inmate accounts ARE NOT accepted by mail. Cash may be deposited to inmate commissary accounts through kiosks located in BSO jail facility lobbies (Conte, Paul Rein, Main Jail, North Broward, or Visitation Center). Cash deposits are accepted seven (7) days a week. No change will be made through the kiosks.
Depositors must present the name and arrest number of the inmate and the exact cash amount to be deposited.
For all deposits (Western Union, Access Corrections Secure Deposits and Lobby kiosks), it may take from 30 minutes to 2 hours until inmates can see the funds posted into their accounts.
