Captain Darryl Stallings

Pompano Beach

Captain Darryl Stallings began his law enforcement career in 1987 with the City of Pompano Beach Police Department. He joined the Broward Sheriff's Office in 1999 when the agencies merged. From 1987 – 2007 Captain Stallings served in various capacities with the City of Pompano Beach Police Department and the Broward Sheriff's Office. In March of 2007, he was promoted to sergeant and assigned to the Tamarac District Patrol Services.

In February of 2013, Captain Stallings was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Deerfield Beach District as the patrol commander and commander of the Community Affairs Unit. Captain Stallings also served as Deerfield Beach's Field Training Officers Program coordinator and the district's special events coordinator. In 2015, he was promoted to executive lieutenant of the Deerfield Beach District. In 2017, he transferred to the Dania Beach District. In February 2020, he was promoted to captain in charge of Pompano Beach District Area Two.

Captain Stallings is a graduate of the Supervisor Leadership Academy and the Department of Law Enforcement Executive Leadership Training. He has received numerous letters of appreciation and commendations throughout his career.
