BSO's Department of Professional Standards and Investigations is responsible for helping maintain the highest level of professionalism throughout BSO. It directs and administers quality control functions of the agency to include Internal Affairs, Staff Inspections, Internal Audit, Policy & Accountability, Training, and Background Investigations.
