TRAFFIC ADVISORY: 2023 BROTHERHOOD RIDE SCHEDULED FOR MULTIPLE COUNTIES, BSO TO ASSIST WITH ROAD CLOSURES

On Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, the Broward Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, will provide road closure assistance to the Brotherhood Ride. This charitable nonprofit organization consists of firefighters, law enforcement deputies/officers and emergency medical personnel who cycle through multiple states and counties in honor of fallen first responders. 

BSO’s Motors Unit will assist PBSO’s Motors Unit with escorting the group through Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. The ride is tentatively scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, and Friday, Nov. 3, with a final ride occurring between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. 

The not-for-profit organization will travel through the areas listed below. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. The routes listed are subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
