During this episode of Shop Talk with the Sheriff, Sheriff Gregory Tony is joined by long-standing leader in the Broward community, Bobby Henry Sr., Publisher and CEO of the family-owned Westside Gazette Newspaper.

Henry has led the dramatic transformation of Broward County's oldest and largest African-American owned and operated newspaper, devoted many years to uplifting and mentoring youth and is active on the board of numerous organizations.

Listen in as Sheriff Tony and Henry talk about the importance of empowering our community with information, mentorship, interconnectedness and what the future looks like for the Westside Gazette.

“One of our focal points has always, and will always be, the youth. We understand the strength of our youth, we understand their tenacity, we understand their eagerness; we understand that they are our life source. We have to be able to give them a platform,” said Henry.
