Broward Sheriff’s Office traffic homicide detectives are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left one passenger dead.
Preliminary investigation reveals that shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, Eddie Adams was driving a Toyota Camry southbound on N.W. 31st Avenue when he attempted to make a U-turn at N.W. 12th Street in unincorporated Central Broward. As Adams was conducting the U-turn, Kimyah Henderson was driving a Hyundai Elantra northbound on N.W. 31st Avenue. The two vehicles collided, T-boning on the passenger side of the Toyota.
As this was occurring, Johnathan Marshall was driving a Dodge Charger northbound behind Henderson. Marshall’s vehicle struck one or both of the other vehicles involved, causing a minor collision.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported a female passenger who was inside the Toyota Camry, Tiffany Howard, to Broward Health Medical Center. The passenger was pronounced dead.
Henderson and a passenger in the Hyundai Elantra, Brianna Floyd, were also transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Adams and Marshall remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
