Description of Incident:

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a vehicle versus motor scooter crash that killed a man in Dania Beach.

At approximately 3:16 a.m., Sunday, July 24, the driver of a 2002 Toyota Camry sedan was traveling southbound on Southwest Fourth Avenue and the driver of a 2018 Zhejiang Riya motor scooter was traveling northbound on Southwest Fourth Avenue when the vehicles collided. 

BSO Dania Beach District deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded, and the motor scooter driver was pronounced deceased on scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
