Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of two people found in a Deerfield Beach home Wednesday morning.

At approximately 9:40 a.m., employees from a doctor’s office went to the home, located in the 400 block of Northeast 39th Street, to check on their co-worker who did not show up for work Wednesday.

They looked into the house through an open door, saw one of the victims and then called 911.

BSO deputies and fire rescue personnel responded to the scene and confirmed the 41-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were deceased.

Homicide and crime scene detectives are investigating the deaths and spent the remainder of the day collecting evidence, documenting the crime scene, canvassing the area and questioning neighbors.

Detectives said the woman lived at the home alone.
