BSO TO HOLD MEMORIAL SERVICE TO HONOR EMPLOYEES WHO DIED OF COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken the lives of more than 700,000 Americans. Nine of those individuals were dedicated, trusted and valued employees of the Broward Sheriff’s Office. They leave behind family, friends and loved ones, as well as a BSO community that is mourning their deaths and honoring their legacies. 

At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, BSO will hold a memorial service at The Faith Center in Sunrise to honor and remember the lives of those employees:

Aldemar Rengifo Jr., Lieutenant
Pamela Ford, Community Programs Supervision Specialist
Stephen Adams, Detention Aide

Edwin Sanchez, Court Bailiff
Tasha Blackwood, Confinement Status Specialist II

NOTE: Masks will be required for entry to The Faith Center and during the memorial. The event will be live streamed on BSO’s YouTube channel.
