11-1904-008696.jpgA man and woman were robbed and carjacked in Pompano Beach by a suspect that Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives say is armed and dangerous. 

Around 1:15 a.m. April 29, the victims were at a pavilion at Apollo Park, 1580 N.W. Third Ave., when the unidentified male approached them. He displayed a firearm and demanded their property. The suspect took the keys to the woman’s 2006 blue Pontiac Vibe, which has a Florida tag of 038 QIP. In the victim’s Pontiac was her black purse containing undisclosed valuables. 

The armed robber is described as being between the ages of 28 and 40, about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 145 to 160 pounds. He has a medium build. Detectives hope that someone will be able to identify him from the sketch.
