A juvenile male is dead following a shooting in Pompano Beach on Monday night, and Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating the incident.

At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, BSO deputies responded to a report of an injured person lying in the 600 block of Northwest Second Terrace in Pompano Beach. On scene, deputies located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced deceased on scene. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate.
