BSO DETECTIVES SEEK SUSPECT IN COOPER CITY CAR BREAK-INS

Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are releasing video of a suspect involved in multiple car burglaries in Cooper City on Dec. 12.

Around 4 a.m., home security video shows a male walking into the carport of a residence in the 5200 block of Southwest 93rd Avenue in Cooper City. The suspect exits the carport carrying two fishing poles and attempts to open the car door of a vehicle at the residence. He then attempts to open a car door at the residence next door before leaving the area.

BSO detectives responded to 10 residences regarding car burglaries around the time the suspect is seen in the video. The suspect is believed to have burglarized 18 vehicles and got away with two fishing poles, power tools and one vehicle.

A reward up to $3,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest.
