UPDATE: Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Person’s Unit say 16-year-old Alex Edwards was safely located. Investigators say Edwards returned home to his family. 

A BSO missing persons alert was issued on Friday, July 26, after Edwards was last seen near the 2700 block of Northwest 34th Terrace in Lauderdale Lakes.
