Join Sheriff Gregory Tony and the men and women of the Broward Sheriff’s Office as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a Women’s Appreciation Breakfast. 

Women of all faiths, ages and backgrounds are invited to enjoy a hot breakfast on Tuesday, March 17, at the Urban League of Broward County, located at 560 N.W. 27th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Registration and breakfast begin at 9 a.m., and the program will follow at 10 a.m. 

Guest keynote speaker El pagnier K. Hudson, vice president of Human Resources at Florida International University, will deliver the inspirational message surrounding this year’s theme, “honoring valiant women of the vote.” WPLG Local 10 news anchor, Alex Finnie, will serve as the mistress of ceremonies. Live band entertainment will be provided.  

The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required by March 12. To confirm attendance, call 954-321-4111.
