The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is spent by many in service and celebration of a distinguished leader. In recent years, riders of dirt bikes and ATVs have illegally taken to South Florida roadways on this holiday. The Broward Sheriff’s Office and its partners want to ensure that the day remains safe for all.
On Thursday, BSO will host a joint news conference with several law enforcement agencies to detail traffic safety and enforcement measures that address the unlawful ATV/dirt bike rideouts that unfold during the national day of observance.
