Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are investigating a shooting that took the life of a 20-year-old male.  A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.

According to investigators, at approximately 3:33 a.m., officers with the Pembroke Park Police Department responded to reports of a possible crash involving a BMW near the 5100 block of Southwest 41st Street. When officers arrived on scene, they located an unoccupied vehicle riddled with bullets.

While PPPD officers were conducting their investigation, they learned an adult male, later identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Gordon, had been dropped off at Memorial Pembroke 24/7 Care Center in Pembroke Pines with multiple gunshot wounds. Due to the nature of his injuries, Gordon was subsequently transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he was later pronounced deceased.

At the request of PPPD, detectives with BSO’s Crime Scene and Homicide Units were asked to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting. According to BSO detectives, the preliminary investigation revealed the initial shooting took place just south of the intersection of Southwest 56th Avenue and Hallandale Beach Boulevard in West Park.
