Around 6:05 p.m. Jan. 18, Jerameel Muniz was traveling westbound on Southwest 23rd Street on a Yamaha dirt bike at a high rate of speed approaching the intersection of Southwest 56th Avenue. Trevis Palmer was traveling southbound on Southwest 56th Avenue in a Dodge Caravan approaching the intersection of Southwest 23rd Street when Muniz failed to adhere to the posted stop sign. Both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. Muniz was ejected from his off-road dirt bike.
