Lieutenant Vincent Coldwell
Port Everglades
Lieutenant Vincent Coldwell began his law enforcement career as a cadet for the Broward Sheriff’s Office in 2003 and was promoted to deputy in 2004. He was assigned to Central Broward District, where he worked road patrol and criminal investigation. In 2012, he was transferred to the Regional Investigations Division and assigned to the Robbery Unit. In 2016, he was promoted to sergeant and was assigned to the Pompano Beach District. In 2017, he was transferred to Port Everglades, where he worked on road patrol and assisted with the compliance unit. He then transferred to Internal Affairs/Professional Compliance and later to the Office of the Inspector General as the agency staff inspector, where he was promoted to lieutenant in 2023. In March 2024, Lieutenant Coldwell was assigned back to Port Everglades as the district’s executive officer.
Lt. Coldwell has a
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and successfully completed the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA) Trilogy.
