Captain Ruth Beaubrun
North Lauderdale
Captain Ruth Beaubrun began her career with the Broward Sheriff’s Office in 2001 as a detention deputy. She soon transitioned to the Department of Law Enforcement as a road patrol deputy. Since then, Captain Beaubrun has served in various capacities throughout the organization, including field training deputy, school resource deputy, detective and recruiter. In 2018, Captain Beaubrun was promoted to sergeant. In 2021, she was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the North Lauderdale District, where she served as the executive officer. In December 2022, she was promoted to Captain and is assigned to North Lauderdale.
Captain Beaubrun holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
