Video Visitation

Avoid long lines, and scheduling conflicts, and provide a better environment for children to interact with a family member. Video visitation is an easier way to spend time with a loved one in custody at one of our jails. The service can be accessed at either our video visitation center or anywhere with internet access from your smartphone, tablet or computer with a webcam.

To sign up and schedule an appointment, please visit our Video Visitation Center at 3700 W. Oakland Park Blvd. Lauderdale Lakes, Florida 33311 or click here. A one-time registration is required prior to receiving access to remote and scheduled visits at our Video Visitation Center. Appointments are available by scheduling only and may be scheduled, modified, or canceled not less than one (1) day to no more than seven (7) days in advance.

Visitor's accounts may take up to 48 hours for approval. All inmates will receive two (2) one (1) hour visits per week via the Visitation Center. Available video visitation times will be shown at the time of scheduling. Video visitation is available seven (7) days a week from 7:45 am to 9:45 pm, although some restrictions may apply. Visitation is subject to postponement or cancellation due to jail emergency and administrative reasons. Cancellation notifications will be sent via email or phone. For more information, please call (954) 831-5900 or check out the BSO Video Visitation Center brochure.

Effective Monday, June 7, 2021, the friends and family voucher program for video visitation will no longer be accepted.  Friends, family, and/or loved ones of inmates may utilize the video visitation center or pay for remote visits to continue to see their incarcerated loved ones. Professional visits will resume at all jail facilities. Video Visitation vouchers will be available for attorneys for a limited time during the transition to normal operations.
