Clothing for Clients for Appearances in Circuit Court

Clothing for court appearances will be accepted only when a court date for jury trial has been determined. Your client must forward a request to the BSO Inmate Property Unit for approval to accept the court clothing.

The clothing will only be accepted at the BSO jail facility where your client is being held and only during regular visitation hours.

No clothing will be accepted without approval from the BSO Inmate Property Unit.

Per our policy, all inmate legal or case paperwork must be mailed in unless otherwise authorized.

Legal Assistants/Interpreters

Prior to the initial visit of a legal assistant or interpreter, the attorney must send a letter to the captain of the BSO jail facility indicating the full name, sex, birth date, race and driver's license number of the legal assistant/interpreter and identifying the detainee to be visited. No relative or social acquaintances of the inmate may be used in this capacity.

Proper identification must be provided by your legal assistant/interpreter upon arrival at the jail.

There are a limited number of private, direct contact, attorney/client interview rooms. If these rooms are occupied, your visit may take place in the visitation booth which provides visual and telephone contact with the detainee through a glass partition.
