Grants

The Grants Management Division (GMD) is a part of the Bureau of Finance and is responsible for the central coordination of grant research, grant application preparation, grants administration and grant compliance throughout the agency. The intention is to develop, implement and maintain efficient grants management and grant compliance through appropriate oversight and coordination between agency departments and the Grants Management Division. This includes competitive grants, formula grants, block grants, and other forms of revenue distribution governed by applicable authorities. 

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Grants Management Division’s aim is to establish and maintain a diverse mix of grant funding resources to support and enhance agency operations, while adhering to Federal and State rules, policies and regulations. Grants personnel will seek financial streams that will allow for effective, efficient, and economical implementation of grant funded projects that meets agency’s cost containment goals.
