Topics of Study
This program delivery will be a hybrid of land-based and online formats. Classes will be held every Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. (hours may vary). Land-based classes will be held on the NSU main campus, 3301 College Avenue in Davie, Florida.

- Leadership - Leadership practices for achieving excellence
- Organizational Behavior - Developing an ethical organizational culture through instilling core values and ensuring accountability
- Performance Management - Improving employee performance through effective mentoring, coaching, motivating and evaluating
- Decision Making and Problem Solving - Proven methods for exercising proper judgment
- Organizational Change and Strategic Management - Planning and managing change
- Budget and Finance - Forecasting and managing the annual budget
- Labor Relations - Conducting effective management-union relations and negotiations
- Crisis and Emergency Management - Systems and strategies for handling emergency operations
- Stress Management - Identifying and managing stress factors in the work place
- Emerging Technologies - Improving efficiency through technology
- Media Relations - Developing healthy partnerships with the media
College Credit Option
Students may choose to take the course for graduate / undergraduate level college credit. This option requires additional writing and / or research projects.
