Sheriff Al Lamberti Elected Vice President
Sheriff Al Lamberti has been elected to serve as the Vice President of the Major County Sheriffs' Association. He was elected to the position at the Association’s semi-annual meeting in St. Louis Missouri.
The Major County Sheriffs' Association is a professional law enforcement association of elected sheriffs representing counties with a population of 500,000 or more. The MCSA’s membership represents over 100 million Americans. Elected as President was Sheriff Rich Stanek of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Immediate Past President is Sheriff Doug Gillespie of Clark County, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sheriff Lamberti also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Sheriffs’ Association. He was elected to a three-year term in June 2009.
