BSO DETECTIVES LOOKING FOR ARMED 7-ELEVEN ROBBERS
BSO Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying two criminals who were caught on surveillance video July 27 as they robbed a Pompano Beach 7-Eleven. Shortly after 2 a.m., the duo walked into the store at 403 E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. One of the robbers wore black shorts, black shoes, large gloves and a black and white hooded sweatshirt with a separate black T-shirt concealing his face. He jumped over the counter and attempted to open a register. The face of the second criminal, who entered behind the first, is visible for a moment on the video before he conceals it with a shirt. He has short, dark brown hair and wore baggy beige shorts with a black stripe down the sides and a black T-shirt. He pointed a gun at a store clerk and yelled at him to get on the ground. A second clerk came around the counter and opened the registers for the first robber, who grabbed the money and jumped back over the counter. Both fled in an unknown direction.
