Description of Incident:

A 17-year-old from Lauderhill was found dead on a North Lauderdale street late Monday night and his killer remains at large.

At 10:16 p.m., someone called 9-1-1 to report shots heard in the area of the 1900 block of SW 66 Avenue. When Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived, they found Abib Ali, 17, dead in the street. According to witnesses, Ali was in the neighborhood visiting a friend. After Ali and the friend parted company, the suspect, an unidentified black male, and the victim were involved in some type of altercation. The suspect shot Ali and fled the scene on a bicycle.
