Broward Sheriff's Office (Central Broward) staff will join the District 5 Community Council and other residents as they remember those who lost their lives during last year’s terrorist attacks.

The ceremony will be held tomorrow night at Delevoe Park, located at 2520 NW 6 Street. Guest speakers, dancers and singers will pay tribute to the victims of that tragic day and pray for healing for the families they left behind.

Those attending the one-year anniversary of September 11th will also mark the occasion by planting a tree. In a symbol of appreciation and support an American flag, flown since September 11, 2001, will be retired to honor the men and women of the military, law enforcement agencies and fire departments everywhere.

For more information contact BSO Dist. 5 Det. Greg Murphy at (954) 321-4800 or call Ms. Noreen Williams at (954) 321-1025.
