Description of Incident:

The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating the apparent drowning of a little girl in Weston last night.

The evening of Wednesday, August 14, 2002, 4-year old Andrea Ciulla of 1476 Victoria Isle Drive in Weston, her father and several other adults were at a gathering at the home of neighbor Katya Dallacia, 1470 Victoria Isle Drive.

Just before 11:00 p.m., Dallacia approached Andrea’s father, 44-year old Gianni Ciulla and told him that the little girl was in the swimming pool. Mr. Ciulla and several other guests pulled Andrea from the pool and attempted to administer CPR.
