Description of Incident:
A West Park woman had to flee from her home Friday morning after coming face to face with an intruder. Now, Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are releasing a composite sketch in the hopes of identifying the suspect.
Shortly before 9 a.m., the victim, Hitlen Brice, was preparing to take a shower when she heard an unusual noise coming from the dining room area. Brice went to investigate and was confronted by an unidentified male. The more she screamed, the more the burglary suspect continued to approach. Feeling threatened, Brice ran out the front door to get help from a neighbor.
BSO Deputies responded to the 911 call for help. When deputies arrived at the home in the 4400 block of S.W. 40 St., the suspect was gone.
Brice described the suspect as a black male, in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall and last seen wearing a white “doo rag” on his head and a white T-shirt with blue jean shorts.
