BSO HOLDS PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK EVENT

The Broward Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the United Way Commission on Substance Abuse, will hold an Operation Medicine Cabinet prescription drug "take back" event Monday, March 12 at a Senior Health Fair at the Joseph Meyerhof Senior Center in Hollywood.

The prescription drug take back program allows participants to turn in unused or expired prescription medication with no questions asked to receive a $5 CVS gift card while supplies last. Participants will be provided with information about how to prevent prescription drug abuse and the signs of drug abuse.
