Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives are releasing several surveillance photos of an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend at a Pompano Beach dating service. Investigators hope the public will assist them with identifying their masked suspect.

The armed robbery took place shortly after 8 a.m., Sunday, November 24th at the offices of Florence Dating Services, located at 100 East Sample Road in Pompano Beach. Several female employees were inside the business when the male suspect, armed with a chrome semi-automatic handgun, charged in, ordered everyone to the ground, and began to demand money. The suspect, who appeared to be walking with a limp, spent a little over a minute in the business before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. During the heist, the gun-wielding suspect threatened to kill anyone who moved.

Suspect Description: unknown black male, 5’11” inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with matching blue sweatpants, and a white mask over his face.
