Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives are releasing surveillance video in the hopes of identifying three suspects who robbed an Oakland Park restaurant last month.

The unidentified black males entered the back door of Jack’s Old Fashion Hamburger House shortly before 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 24th. The suspects are seen on tape approaching the counter when one of them points a handgun at an employee while demanding cash. The employee points to the counter where the money was being counted and another suspect helps himself to an undisclosed amount of cash. The third suspect remained near the doorway.

The armed suspect made his way around the front of the counter when another employee ran up behind him and attempted to take his gun. Fortunately, no one was injured and the suspects fled the restaurant.

Based on statements from witnesses, robbery detectives said the suspects ran out the back door of the restaurant and possibly fled the scene in a red newer model Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird with black convertible top. All of the suspects were wearing dark clothes and are believed to be in their late teens or early 20’s.
