Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detectives are searching for a predator that targets girls on his morning drives. The middle-aged suspect uses a white truck and physical violence to trap his victims.

At 9:30 a.m. on February 12, a man in a white Ford F-150 drove up alongside of a female juvenile as she walked near 43 Terr. and 50 St. in Dania Beach. The girl tried to get away but the suspect used the truck to trap the victim against a fence. He then reached out of the truck window, grabbed the girl’s shirt and punched her in the face. The man pulled the victim closer and forced her to watch him masturbate. The victim was able to escape by using her keys to hit the suspect, which forced him to let her go. She was able to run from the truck and was later treated by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue for minor injuries.

BSO detectives are looking for a white or Hispanic male in his 40’s with a tattoo on the left side of his neck that may resemble a triangle and roman numerals. He is bald or balding with yellow teeth and wore tan work clothes. The suspect was driving a white Ford F-150 with landscaping equipment in the bed of the truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO SVU Detective Ann Suter at 954-321-4689 or report anonymous tips to Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or to www.browardcrimestoppers.org online. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $3,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
