A 28-year-old man is being held without bond after being charged with entering his neighbor’s home Monday morning and molesting a 14-year-old girl as she slept.

The indecent incident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. on May 27th. The suspect, Pierre Joseph, crawled through an unlocked kitchen window to get into his neighbor’s home. He then entered the bedroom where the teenage victim was sleeping and began to pull off her underclothes. The girl woke up and the suspect fled from the residence, but not before the victim got a look at him and recognized him as someone she’d seen in the neighborhood.
