Detectives Search for Missing Cooper City Man


Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are asking for the public's help locating a man who went missing from his Cooper City home around 1 p.m. Friday, February 15.  Cesar Altamirano, 82, left his residence at 5951 SW 112 Way on foot and withouth his medication.  He suffers from dementia, depression and Diabetes.  Cesar walks slowly and usually wears a silver watch and a blue/purple, plastic bracelet with the phrase “In God We Trust.”   Cesar is 5’5” tall, weights between 140 and 145 lbs. and was last seen wearing a beige shirt and tan-colored pants.  Cesar has a distrust of police.  Anyone with information on Cesar's whereabouts is asked to contact the BSO non-emergency number at 954-765-4321.
